Opening Speech

Honorable Chairs and fellow delegates,

The world cultural heritage is suffering from the impact of the natural environment and the destruction of the humanities. As early as 1972, the United Nations General Assembly formulated the convention on the protection of the world cultural and natural heritage. By 2024, 194 countries had acceded to the Convention.

China believes that as long as friendly cooperation among countries and strong support for scientific and technological development, cultural heritage can be better protected. China has been cooperating with UNESO and other organizations in cultural heritage projects to share digital conservation strategies.

From the international perspective: Firstly, promote and impart new technologies known in China, such as digital technology, artificial intelligence technology, virtual reality and augmented reality technology. Secondly, the United Nations organizes regular seminars on New technologies to enable better understanding among different countries. Thirdly, the United Nations needs countries to realize the importance of this issue and to call for new research and development. Thank you chairs thank you all.
